Ricardo Johnson,
Managing Partner

Prior to launching FrontPorch, Ricardo was a healthcare operator and private capital markets investor. Most recently, he led a 250 employee and 20 physician regional multi-location healthcare business and helped to guide the organization through the COVID crisis. Prior to that, he worked at Medtronic and provided strategy and M&A insights to the organization’s $10 billion Cardiac and Vascular franchise. Before Medtronic, Ricardo spent most of his career as a private capital markets investor, leading over $1 billion of institutional investments. Ricardo began his career providing investment solutions to business owners at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank and spent subsequent years of his early career as an investment banking analyst.

Ricardo received his B.B.A. in Finance from Howard University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Outside of work, Ricardo enjoys volunteering, mentoring, and contributing to causes that benefit society.
